Creation of Up North Fibre®
The demand for full fibre, with excellent local support, and fair pricing became undeniable and so the company decided to launch Up North Fibre.
Up North Fibre® builds its own full fibre networks to provide broadband and other connectivity services to homes and businesses.

Hexham Full Fibre Rollout
Up North Fibre® begins rolling out full fibre broadband in Hexham, Northumberland – with Gigabit home broadband for just £26 per month.
Justin Orde
Justin Orde founded Gazelle Group PLC when he left the army in 1984, which was one of the pioneers of the regulated telecoms industry.
In 1991, Justin founded Spitfire Network Services – a trusted internet provider, based in London.
Justin is now Managing Director and oversees all business activities.
Harry Robson
Harry Robson studied IT and Computer Science before working as a freelance programmer. He later started a web hosting and support business.
Harry and Justin have been working together since 2019 on a variety of projects in the North East.
Harry is a Director and works on technical ops and customer support.
Dan Stringer
Dan Stringer joined BT Group as an apprentice in 1998. Dan moved to Openreach, in 2006, when the company was formed.
Dan moved from London to the North East in 2013, and worked with Justin on a multi-site Openreach FTTP project.
Dan is a Director, bringing industry expertise as we build full fibre networks.
